we're all made of
stardust

A Curtin University PhD research project aiming to create better understanding of, and support for, grief in bereaved young adults

what does stardust mean?

Stardust is the name of this research project and the online program that is being developed throughout the project.

"Though the billions of people on Earth may come from different areas, we share a common heritage: we are all made of stardust! From the carbon in our DNA to the calcium in our bones, nearly all of the elements in our bodies were forged in the fiery hearts and death throes of stars." - NASA, 2022

MY
STORY

I'm Caitlin.

When I was 23, my Dad died.

Grief knocked my world off its axis.

I found that there weren't enough services or supports available for young adults like me, so now I am on a mission to change that.

Check out the "Participate in a Study" tab to get involved, and follow the research project with findings being posted in the "Research Corner" when released.

Contact me if you think you can help or have questions about my research.

If you've lost someone; I'm sorry. I hope you'll join me in my journey to making grief support better for young adults.

Be part of the change

To create the online program, there are several steps to the process.

I am recruiting participants to help me to create the program in different ways such as telling me about your experience of grief and what you would like from an online program.
